Also, the Yankees aren't great at trading. Abreu was a great trade, but for them to get good stuff in return is slim...I mean, Betemit for Proctor? I think that was a bad choice. Proctor could have come out of his slump and been a huge help and Betemit doesn't really add much to the defense or offense of the Yanks. They shouldn't have made that trade. If I were the Yanks, I wouldn't trade Abreu for less then a .285/15 HR type player, which is surprisngly hard to come by lately. I'd trade Abreu for...Eric Byrnes and eat some of Abreu's contract. We can afford it.
