BURLINGTON, VT --- The Vermont Lake Monsters are now accepting nominees for the 2007 Lake Monsters/TD Banknorth Sports Community Hall of Fame inductees, who will be recognized at the "Hot Stove" Banquet & Auction on Saturday, January 20th at the Wyndham Hotel.
Nominees can be submitted by filling out a nomination form at the Lake Monsters front office at the Champlain Mill in Winooski, by mail (Vermont Lake Monsters, Suite 4, Champlain Mill, Winooski, Vermont 05404) or on-line at the Lake Monsters team website at

The criteria for induction into the Sports Community Hall of Fame is at least 10 years of experience in the Vermont sports community, shared knowledge and love of sports, along with being a positive role model in the community.

The Banquet & Auction will benefit Linking Learning to Life, a non-profit organization working to improve educational and employment opportunities for students K-12.
