Stewart, Marcum pace Blue Jays to victory

TORONTO - Shannon Stewart has been looking for a new routine to help him adjust to less playing time, a new role and a different spot in the batting order but what he went through Friday isn't exactly what he had in mind.

"If you knew what I did last night you would never have imagined that I would have played tonight," Stewart said after one of his best games since rejoining the Toronto Blue Jays in a 2-0 victory over the Chicago White Sox. "I didn't really get much rest. My daughter was throwing up all night and we took her to the hospital. She didn't get seen till six and I didn't get to bed until eight.

"So I was just trying to go out there and have good at-bats. I've been trying to find a groove and it's been tough. It's going to come."
FULL STORY

It just goes to show you that Stewart was trying to hard before, when you don't think about the game and just play simple ball, you can do almost anything!! Way to go Stewart!!! Hope your daughter is feeling better as well.

Well, that's 2 in a row can we reach 4? I sure hope so, it would be really nice to see the Jays go on a good run.
