Brewers completing deal with Weaver

Cardinals fans might get to see postseason hero Jeff Weaver back at Busch Stadium this summer. But if he makes it, he'll be wearing a Milwaukee Brewers uniform.
Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel baseball writer Tom Haudricourt reported in his blog this morning that the Brewers are completing a minor-league deal with Weaver for "not a lot of money," according to GM Gord Ash.
Ash said Weaver, 31, would participate in a "hurry-up spring training" in Arizona before reporting to Class AAA Nashville.
